Social Responsibility

As a responsible institution, we return a part of our profits to the community. We faithfully get involved with the community and its activities where we are needed most: we donate, we advocate ethics and performance in business, we support education, we care about disadvantaged groups, and we dedicate ourselves to activities that endorse the young people, nature, and the environment.

“Because of our faith in the new generation and the wish to support the youth, we decided to invest in education; all of our community-oriented programs began from this desire.” Ioan Popa

The investment in education – Transavia’s commitment to the community
Transavia finalized, in autumn of 2006, works on the multi-purpose hall at the Alba Iulia Students’ Culture House. The expansion of activities and increasing number of students, determined necessary changes in the use of the Culture House’s spaces, and today this hall permits the planning of various courses, shows, debates and conferences.

“Transavia is delighted to facilitate the youth the access to education in the best conditions, and that is why we chose to support the Alba Iulia Culture House in finalizing a long-term project, that can truly be beneficial to the community. The action initiated simultaneously with the ‘Community Projects Exchange’ demonstrates that Transavia invests in the long-term development of Alba Iulia” declared Ioan Popa, Transavia’s Director-General, at the inaugural ceremony.
