For the work point TRANSAVIA Pet Food from Drâmbar, Alba County, we are recruiting a Chemical Engineer for wastewater treatment plant. We are looking for a dedicated person, open to new things, with good adaptability and receptivity in updating technical information, who will maintain the station within its nominal operating parameters.
Requirements and candidate profile
- Graduate of secondary or higher education in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental protection, water treatment, or a related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in chemical operation
- Minimum 1 year of operation at a municipal wastewater treatment plant or internship
- Laboratory assistant qualification is an advantage
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, including reading a circuit diagram
- Knowledge in physicochemical water treatment
- Knowledge and skills in reagent management
- Initiative, analytical skills, and the ability to identify or prevent malfunctions
Functional duties
- Monitor the technological stages of the wastewater treatment plant
- Monitor the physical-chemical water treatment
- Monitor the biological wastewater treatment stage
- Collect samples for monitoring physical-chemical parameters
- Supervises the operation of the treatment process and ensures the maintenance of the biological treatment plant: aeration system, submersible pumps, sensors
- Ensure the enclosure is cleaned
