Fragedo and TRANSAVIA Recognized for Performance and Responsibility at the PIAȚA Awards Gala

The 20th edition of the PIAȚA Awards Gala took place on November 20 at Bragadiru Palace in Bucharest, bringing 2 major distinctions to the TRANSAVIA team:

  • Fragedo: Strongest Meat Brand (alongside Cris-Tim)
  • TRANSAVIA: Best Environmental or Circular Economy Program (for achieving a 99% recovery rate of technological waste)

These awards are based on the votes of more than 570 retailers and suppliers—partners who work with us every day, who know our standards, see our consistency, and can genuinely assess performance in real operating conditions. This is the kind of recognition that cannot be bought or fast-tracked. It comes only when results are real and sustained over time—exactly what differentiates us and strengthens our position as a trusted partner in the industry,” TRANSAVIA representatives explain.

What sets the PIAȚA Awards apart is its cross-voting system: suppliers vote on retailers’ nominations, while retailers vote on suppliers’ entries. In this way, winners are selected directly by their own business partners—hence the competition’s well-earned title: “The FMCG Industry Awards.”

The voting process was coordinated by ISRA, the PIAȚA Awards’ official voting partner. Over the 19-day voting period, participation exceeded 60% of the total electorate (937 voters)—a turnout that validates not only the 54 award winners.

Congratulations to the TRANSAVIA team, and sincere thanks to Revista Piața and to all partners who placed their trust in us through their vote.

TRANSAVIA Obtains the SynESGy Certificate with a Score of 96/100 – Good Sustainability Level

TRANSAVIA has obtained the SynESGy certificate, awarded by ICAP-CRIF, achieving a score of 96/100, corresponding to Level B – Good Sustainability Performance. This assessment confirms the company’s coherent and responsible approach to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. The score reflects how TRANSAVIA integrates sustainability principles into its day-to-day operations, from governance and operational processes to relationships with employees, partners, and the communities in which it operates. This result places the company in a higher ESG performance category, at a time when such assessments are becoming increasingly relevant for the business environment and financial stakeholders alike.

The SynESGy certificate is an internationally used reference tool for assessing companies’ ESG maturity, aimed at supporting transparency and facilitating dialogue between organizations, financial institutions, and other stakeholders. For TRANSAVIA, this result confirms a clearly assumed direction: long-term development, responsible decision-making, and a consistent approach to sustainability, embedded in the company’s operating model.

The ESG Score is calculated based on the proprietary methodology of CRIF S.p.A. and/or its affiliated subsidiaries under common control and/or parent companies (“CRIF Group”), using the information provided by the Company to which the ESG Score refers, through the completion of a questionnaire under the Company’s direct and exclusive responsibility. The information is not subject to verification by the CRIF Group. The ESG Score refers to the date on which the questionnaire was completed and is not subject to monitoring. The ESG Score is not a certification or a specific assessment, but has the sole purpose of reporting the relevant class and is therefore for informational purposes only. The ESG Score is provided “as is,” without any warranties of any kind, including, in particular, warranties of reliability, accuracy, or completeness. The CRIF Group assumes no responsibility or liability towards third parties for the use of the ESG Score. Consequently, the CRIF Group shall not be held liable in any way for assessments or decisions made on the basis of the ESG Score by the Company or any third party.

*This rating score represents the company’s overall assessment relative to the universe of evaluated companies. A higher score indicates a better evaluation (1/100 being the lowest and 100/100 the highest possible score).

TRANSAVIA Recognized for Responsibility and Consistency
