Bucharest, April 29, 2026: In a global context marked by geopolitical fragmentation, economic volatility, the accelerating pace of decisions influenced by artificial intelligence, and declining trust in institutions, the Future of Governance International Conference returns to Bucharest on May 7 for its fifth edition, with a theme that reflects one of the most pressing questions of our time: The Great Governance Reset.
Organized by Envisia – Boards of Elite, the conference brings together leaders from the public and private sectors, board members, public policy experts, investors, and representatives of the academic environment for a conversation about how leadership, legitimacy, and responsibility must be rethought in an increasingly unpredictable world.

This year's edition agenda explores some of the most pressing questions facing leaders today: how we rebuild institutional legitimacy, how we prepare organizations for increasingly frequent crises, how we maintain decision-making integrity under pressure, how we collaborate across generations, and how we retain human control in a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence.
The conference will be opened by the keynote speech delivered by Tina Fordham, international geostrategist and former Chief Global Political Analyst at Citigroup, who will explore what responsible leadership means in a decade defined by geopolitical volatility, global realignments, and mounting pressures on institutions.
