Transavia, the leader of the local chicken meat market and one of the most important family businesses in Romania with over 25 years of experience in the field, will participate in the 27th edition of the SIAL fair, the largest international event dedicated to the food industry.
The event will take place in Paris from October 16 to 20, 2016, where over 160,000 visitors from around the world are expected. Every year, the trade fair manages to bring together over 7,000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries.
„Our presence at a new edition of the SIAL fair represents a reconfirmation of our performance in the activity we carry out and proof of the fact that our products continue to be appreciated both in Romania and abroad. At the same time, we are interested in participating in such events, which constitute an important opportunity to consolidate our existing partnerships, identify industry trends, as well as new business opportunities., states Ioan Popa, General Manager of Transavia.
Transavia is constantly present at international trade fairs and exhibitions in the field, such as Anuga or Indagra Food.
Over the past 5 years, Transavia's sales have targeted predominantly the European Union, especially due to the profile and evolution of the global poultry market.
Over the years, Transavia has strengthened its position on the export market, being a reliable partner thanks to the quality of the products offered and the seriousness with which it treats its collaborators. Export accounts for 15% of the company's turnover and is carried out in several countries in the European Union, such as Great Britain, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, Greece, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Spain and Croatia. For export, Transavia is present both with its own brands, such as Fragedo and Papane, and with private label products.
