Therefore, we guarantee the safety and quality of our products, animal welfare, and a minimal environmental impact, while ensuring transparency and trust throughout the entire production chain, from farm to fork and bowl.

Did you know that:
- Does one in ten people worldwide fall ill from contaminated food every year? This affects all countries.
- Over 200 diseases are caused by the consumption of food contaminated with bacteria, viruses, parasites, or chemical substances, such as heavy metals?
- Food safety incidents are not only caused by foodborne illnesses. Could they be due to an unexpected event, such as a power outage or a flood, which may lead to contamination or cause a breakdown in food safety control?

„At TRANSAVIA, we believe that all consumers have the right to expect the highest standards of food safety, consistently and uniformly guaranteed, regardless of where they eat or buy chicken. That is why every step in our fully integrated vertical production chain—from grain to fork—is carefully supervised and monitored, from the selection of the breed and breeding stock, to feeding the birds with scientifically formulated feed produced at our Compound Feed Plant, using grains we grow ourselves on the approximately 10,000 hectares of farmland we cultivate, all the way through to slaughter, processing, packaging, and delivery. We apply best practices and the strictest standards of hygiene and food safety, ensuring that every product bearing the TRANSAVIA logo is a symbol of trust and quality,”, Cristina LUPȘAN, Quality Director of the Industrialization Sector, TRANSAVIA.
„As the poultry market leader in Romania, we assume an active role in educating the market and setting models of best practice regarding traceability and chicken meat production under maximum safety and quality conditions. For the TRANSAVIA team, quality and food safety are part of the social responsibility commitment undertaken by all over 2,300 employees who do everything, day by day, exactly as it should be done, from farm to fork. We thus guarantee the safety and quality of our products. We are proud that this year, too, we have not registered any product withdrawals or recalls for food safety reasons. We thus demonstrate that we keep our promises every day and that we have a culture of quality and safety in which all our employees respect the strictest protocols, standards, and norms, Marian SABĂU, Quality and Food Safety Director of TRANSAVIA.
