Libertan Chicken
What is Libertan?
We chose a chicken of a special breed, from slow growth, bold and sprint, fully integrated in a natural microclimate, with access to the outdoors. I built a new farm from scratch, like a house. We produce in limited stocks, in a craft approach, in the spirit of a circular economy. Enthusiastic, Libertan farmers are constantly monitoring how the chicks grow, run and develop, respecting the best bio-security practices.

Special designed houses
All chicken houses are specially designed by professionals to offer comfort for the birds. The temperature and ventilation are automatically monetarized and the light uses LED technology for sustainable infrastructure and positive impact on the environment. Also LED-off time is used every day, to support the birds sleep.
The houses are well insulated to help energy saving and maintain a constant temperature, as weather conditions in Romania can vary from –25°C in the winter to +35°C in the summer time. The farm manager uses automatic computers that ensures good welfare parameters, from ventilation level to humidity, heat, air intensity and cooling system. Because we care.
